New beginnings

"When one door closes, another opens."

They didn't tell us that we have to wait this long for the new door to open. And when it did open in July 2014, it was only slightly ajar so all we could see was a thin sliver of light peeking through. It would take another painstaking 6 months to arrive at where we are. But even now, we are still waiting to take that final step across the threshold.
